  1. This couldn't be more timely as I'm about to publish the enhanced ebook (i.e. Kindle/Nook) edition of my cookbook, SKINNY SPICES: 50 Nifty Homemade Spice Blends That Can Turn Blah Healthy Eating Into Flavor-Rich Delicious Dining. Thank you so much for this valuable resource, Brian!

  2. Hi Brian, Thanks for sending the information about this post our way. It was interesting and made me think that maybe you'd like to be a guest on our radio show for a World of Writing Interview in April or May time period? (http://blogtalkradio.com/consciousdiscussions) I too am known as a 'book marketing guru' and have a book out on the subject - so I'm sure we'd have a great discussion to offer our listeners. Visit the site (above) and then contact me via: http://brummet.ca if you are interested.

  13. Thanks for sending this link my way, Brian...I almost deleted it, but something made me come and look and I'm so glad I did! Authors often think their work is done when they write 'The End' on their manuscript. I've learned that the work has actually just begun.:) And,when you get your book 'out there' like my award-winning parent/teacher resource, Show Me How! Build Your Child's Self-Esteem Through Reading, Crafting and Cooking...it is truly up to the author these days to market and promote. You've provided a wealth of articles that will help any author. I will share this link with my social media network.

  24. The simplest method to create the News release headline is to extract the most important keywords from your News release. From these keywords, try to frame a logical and attention-getting statement. If including a summary sentence after the headline, the same rules apply. Using keywords early will give you better visibility in search engines, and it will be simpler for journalists and readers to get the idea of the News release content. Look at the actions in this first step, and notice how every one of them could be a News release headline.
