Social Media Tools for Authors




Here are some tools to utilize on Twitter:

Hashtagify
Type in a hashtag of choice and this app will rate its prominence on Twitter.  You can use the hashtags that rate high in your tweets, when relevant, to increase your retweet capabilities.

Twitonomy
This provides you with an analysis of your Twitter profile, even telling you into about the users you most often reply to, mention or retweet.  It also updates you on the number of lists other users have added you to since you opened your account.

Bluenod
Use this to find new followers.

Twubs
If you like to partake in chats on Twitter, especially if you need help on including a Twitter chat hashtag to your dialogue.

Topsy
A helpful search engine for Twitter, you can use it to find influencers on a specific topic and to find the most relevant tweets based on keyword searches.

Social Bro
It helps you make good use of Twitter analytics and statistics, which can assist you in finding new followers, imparting email databases, or discovering your best times to tweet.

MyTopTweet
You can find information on any Twitter user by utilizing this app to analyze anyone’s past 3200 tweets.  You’ll come to discover their top 10 retweets.
